Talleyville Fire Co.

At 1642 hours Talleyville (station 25) and Claymont (Station 13) were dispatched to assist Brandywine Hundred (Station 11) on a report of a house fire at 36 Talley Ct in Brandywine Farms. Engine 25-3 and Rescue 25 made the response. While enroute fireboard upgraded to a working alarm. Engine 11-3 went on-scene with heavy smoke showing. Initial reports were no one was home at the time of the fire. 11-3 had to force the door and placed a line in service. 25-3 assisted with the primary search and fire suppression efforts. Crews contained most of the fire to the bedroom at the top of the stairs. At 17:02 hours 11-8 reported, “bulk of the fire knocked down”.
