Talleyville Fire Co.

On Sunday February 26th at 1237hrs Talleyville was dispatched to assist Claymont on reports of a Multi-Residential fire.  While units were enroute fireboard was receiving multiple calls and upgraded the assignment to a working alarm.  13-8 was on scene with fire showing and Fireboard was relaying information of two possible subjects trapped.  13-8 requested the second alarm while 13-5 placed a line in service and rescued one occupant from the structure. 25-6 was given the assignment to conduct a primary and secondary search of the 1st and 3rd floors in search of a possible remaining occupant. The search for the occupant turned up negative but In doing so a dog and puppy were both rescued from the structure. 25-7 and 25-5 threw ground ladders and assisted in ventilation. The red cross was assisting the displaced occupants. 25 Units were back in quarters @1400 hrs.
