On January 6, 2011, Station 25 was alerted to an MVC with entrapment on Concord Pike at Florence Ave - McDaniel Heights at 11:00 am. Rescue 25, 25-6, and A-25 made the response. Upon arrival units found a Mac flat-bed truck vs. a Subaru station wagon with heavy intrusion on the passenger side. During patient assesment it was determined that a toddler in the rear passenger seat had his feet caught between the seat and the B post. Rescue 25 worked to spread the door to free the child's feet, the patient was extricated after 5 minutes. A-25 and A-11 transported the occupants of the vehicle to Christiana ER...1 adult trauma alert, 1 pediatric trauma alert, and 1 pediatric patient. All units were clear of the scene, and turned over to Delaware State Police at 11:30. Units responding: Rescue 25, 25-6, A-25, A-11, B-13, ALS-23, Medic4, Paramedic 1021, Paramedic 1850
