Deputy25 heading toward I95 passed a vehicle on the side of the road with what appeared to be smoke in the cabin and smoke coming from the cracked window. Confirming the car was on fire, he called it in. 256 made the immediate response. 256 arrived, (FF Stratton Officer, FF Langshaw driver) to a vehicle well involved. The fire started in the engine compartment by the firewall and extended to the cabin. The pretty young crew in the back, jumped off the engine with purpose grabbing tools to pop the hood and stretching a line. The crew made quick work of the car fire.
