Rockland Falls Condo Evacuation
Thursday, September 2, 2021
9/2/2021 Just after 5 a while returning from prior incident, NCCFireboad advised 25-6 to start for Rockland Falls Condos where fire alarms were being received for multiple units. Upon 25-6 arrival, water from the Brandywine Creek was found to be rapidly rising throughout the complex. NCC swift water team was activated and evacuations began for all units, including those still above water due to the rapidly changing conditions. Crews operated for about 3 hours until released by command.
