Fire at A.I. DuPont. Children's Hospital

On May 17th Station 25 units (255, 257, and Ladder 25) along with mutual aid companies responded to A.I. DuPont Childrens Hospital for a structure fire. Crews found a fire on the third floor that was contained by sprinklers. Crews worked on scene for approximately an hour.

MVC Concord Pike/ McDaniel Ave

While returning from a service call B-25 drove up to an accident at Concord Pike and McDaniel Avenue. One vehicle sheared a telephone pole in half and came to rest in the Casapulla's parking lot. Driver pronounced dead at scene. Second vehicle continued into southbound lanes and came to rest at Nichols Avenue where it caught on fire. Rescue 25, 256, A-25 and County paramedics responded. Scene turned over to DSP's fatal accident reconstruction team.

Assist Claymont on an apartment fire

On March 1st just after Midnight Ladder 25 and 256 responded to Claymont for a building fire with subjects trapped. Crews performed searches of the fire floor and floors above prior to being relased by command.
