At approximately 22:44 hours Talleyville was alerted to reports of a house fire in the 2600 Block of Abington Rd, in Dartmouth Woods. 255, 256 made the response. Deputy 25 went on-scene with Fire Throughout. Deputy 25 relayed reports of subject trapped, and tried to make entry in the rear nearest the area the subject was reported to be in. He was pushed back by the flames. Crews arrived and set up an exterior attack due to the large volume of fire present throughout the structure. Upon extinguishment of the bulk of the fire, a collapse zone was setup due to obvious structural damage. With a cursory inspection from outside of the last known whereabouts of the victim, firefighters were able to locate the victim. 25 Units remained on scene for some time wetting hotspots and lighting the scene until the arrival of the FM Arson Detection unit. The scene was turned over to the Fire Marshall's office to determine cause of the fire.
