Open House and Car Show - Concord Plaza

Talleyville Fire Company marked the beginning of Fire Prevention Week at the 4th Annual Car Show and Public Safety Day, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Wilmington. The show was well attended with over 100 entries for the car show.
Due to the size of this event it is held at the Concord Plaza on Silverside Rd. Along with the Antique and Classic Cars on display the Fire Department had it’s apparatus on display also including fire prevention displays and a fire extinguisher demonstration designed to teach adults and children how to properly use a fire extinguisher.
The Ladies Auxiliary served food and beverages to the attendees as well as the participants.
