Talleyville Fire Company Santa Parade 2020

Please click on the image to see the schedule through neighborhoods. Santa's parade begins around 5:30pm and usually ends by 8pm. Inclement weather may force Santa to reschedule or cancel some parade routes. Changes will be announced on the Talleyville Fire Company facebook page.

West Chester Fire Department Training Center

Talleyville volunteers and paid staff spent the morning at West Chester Fire Dept Training Center. Evolutions included structural fire suppression and search and rescue operations in live fire conditions. Upper Chichester Squad 10 provided the cover assignment for Station 25.

Talleyville Honors Heroes

Talleyville dedicated a hallway now known as "Heroes Alley" in honor of fallen firefighter Captain Christopher Leach as well as the children honored in the Talleyville Heroes Program.

Fire at A.I. DuPont. Children's Hospital

On May 17th Station 25 units (255, 257, and Ladder 25) along with mutual aid companies responded to A.I. DuPont Childrens Hospital for a structure fire. Crews found a fire on the third floor that was contained by sprinklers. Crews worked on scene for approximately an hour.

MVC Concord Pike/ McDaniel Ave

While returning from a service call B-25 drove up to an accident at Concord Pike and McDaniel Avenue. One vehicle sheared a telephone pole in half and came to rest in the Casapulla's parking lot. Driver pronounced dead at scene. Second vehicle continued into southbound lanes and came to rest at Nichols Avenue where it caught on fire. Rescue 25, 256, A-25 and County paramedics responded. Scene turned over to DSP's fatal accident reconstruction team.

Assist Claymont on an apartment fire

On March 1st just after Midnight Ladder 25 and 256 responded to Claymont for a building fire with subjects trapped. Crews performed searches of the fire floor and floors above prior to being relased by command.

8th Annual Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivors Reunion

8th Annual Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivors Reunion sponsored by New Castle County Emergency Medical Services Division. The event honors civilians along with Paramedics, Firefighters, EMT’s, Police Officers, and Emergency Communication Personnel who because of their combined efforts successfully resuscitated victims of sudden cardiac arrest. 19 members of the Talleyville Fire Company were recognized for life saving awards.

Rescue 25, 256, and C25 made the response to a MVC with entrapment. One patient was extracted and transported to the hospital.

Assist Station 13 on a house fire

Station 25 responded to assist Station 13 on a detached garage fire. Upon arrival 138 advised that he had heavy fire showing from the garage with extension into the residence. Station 25 units assisted with operations inside the residence.
